When you aim to be top gun in a segment you would like to think you should be able to run with the pack. Infiniti entered the market with the new G37 and clearly did their homework by aiming squarely at the BMW 3-Series. Our Infiniti enthusiasts were quick to point out this one is the one to take the crown from the elusive 335. So when Car and Driver took the G37 and compared it to a stripped down BMW 328i you would think this should be child’s play, right? When Mercedes released the 2010 E-Class last month the competition cringed. Just how were they going to keep up with yet another iteration of this class leading sedan? Did Mercedes rest on their laurels with this latest model or did the come out swinging? After reading Agent00R’s review you have to wonder just how well the competition is going to fare against yet another ground breaking winner from Mercedes.


The number one rule of advertising is that sex sells. So did BMW take it too far to right when they published a suggestive advertisement with a semi nude model? While this may be nothing in a Cosmo advertisement, the appearance of such a suggestive ad in the mainstream press may have offended many female readers. So was it offensive or simply smart advertising to a predominately male audience? You be the judge.


As GM falters and Chrysler emerges from bankruptcy, President Obama continually tells us that is doesn’t want to run an automotive company. But after firing former CEO Rick Wagoner and then forcing Chrysler into bankruptcy, he sure is acting like a fortune 500 CEO. So are these federal measures the acts of desperate times, or simply an administration that is leading by example. Tough times require tough decisions, but shouldn’t the leaders of the organization be calling the shots?
