BMW has always been known as a driver’s choice. These Teutonic wonders of engineering always seem to have that extra edge on handling and performance. But what would happen to BMW’s image if this all came to a screeching halt? We might find out soon than you think. BMW has already said it is stepping back V8 production and the V10 and V12 have entered the endangered species list. On top of that, they are focusing their efforts now back into the 4 cylinder market. Flashback to the 80’s, or is it more of a flash forward to 2010?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you’ve heard me mention it time and time again. But what if you found out your beauty of a car made it on the top 100 list of ugliest cars? If it were me I might be devastated, but thankfully I was spared from making the list this year. However by reading the feedback in this article, it seems that not all of you fared quite as well. How you define beauty is one thing, but how other classify ugly is another story.

Now one likes being taken advantage of, and after all of the feedback last week on buying a lemon, 001 had to expand upon his findings. Too many times the individual thinks they have far too few rights against a corporate giant such as an automaker. 001 effectively cleared the air this week of what those rights may be for anyone who was sold a lemon. With the price of cars rising and service bills going through the roof, it is comforting to know that 001 and his band of associates can at come down on your side in the time of need.

New models seem to come out abut every 4 or 5 years, and during that span it is not uncommon for a few minor facelifts to debut to keep the current model fresh. But just how dramatic should a facelift be? After all, they spent countless hours redesigning something. In the case of Lexus releasing a refreshed IS series this week, only the hardcore may have seen the differences. Yes they were there, but many of you expected more, and some of you were left scratching your hard wondering why they even bothered. But there are always some that can look to the inner beauty and forgive.
