It isn’t often the Volkswagen heads off our newsletter. But then again it isn’t often that Volkswagen releases something as head turning as the Passat CC Coupe. If you ask us, VW is on to something, with a $28k starting price the Passat CC looks far more expensive than any of the competition. But it just doesn’t stop at looks, go inside and you see that the high end theme continues and only then do you realize that the Passat CC is really something special. It is not uncommon to see a sport sedan smack down grace our pages. But it is always the same thing, we take a car around a track and we tell you all about it. But what if the tables were turned? What if the reviewers were simply passengers? Agent009 found you a pair of fifth gear videos where they did just that. The passengers were strapped in with pulse rate monitor and taken around the same track in both a BMW M3 and a Lexus IS-F to see which was the best of be in while on the edge. Pretty fun and interesting to say the least.


Agent009 has stirred the pot before by calling for a national speed limit to save our national resources. I have to say no one really held back on what they thought of that when he did. However when he found a New York Times Columnist that had a different twist, the comment flood gates opened. You think some one telling you to drive 55 was bad enough? This columnist took it step further by suggesting that all cars be limited to only 75 mph top speed, period. Yeah baby you all had something to say about that one.

With the recent decision to cease development on the Lexus SC convertible, it looked like if you wanted to have a breeze in your hair, you had to look somewhere other than Lexus. Well, it looks like you just only had to wait a bit longer, as the official news broke out of Lexus that a new drop top was on its way. This time the IS250 was the lucky candidate to receive the nod. With only two doors and a drop top, I have to say this car looks pretty darn good. Should BMW and Audi be worried? Maybe so, be sure to check our the Photoshop rendition and tell us if it is a hit or a miss.
