Topping the good news for this week might just have been the uncovering of BMW’s new Z4 Roadster. At AutoSpies we all have an affinity for things that pack big performance in small packages, and the Z4 delivers this in spades. But did you like what you saw? Agent001 put the question out there for you fire off your responses. Was the new Z4 roadster a STUD or a DUD?

Comparison tests are meant to match two competitors on an even playing field and let the best car win. But this week Agent001 had to call foul, when he saw a comparison of the BMW 1-series against the all new Nissan 370Z. While there are some similarities, neither car is competition for the other in any market. So why do the comparison in the first place? Maybe the Nissan PR wagon is reaching for whatever angle they can to sell the new 370Z in a bad economic climate. Take a look, read the results and tell us what you think.

We flipped the tables and let you run the UAW for a mind bending experience. While Acura might have been easy pickings, the UAW threw some of you for a loop when it came to making critical decisions. Cutbacks, layoffs and project cancellations are unfortunately just part of this holiday season. While it all hurts, some are more painful than others. Like when Honda announced dramatic earnings losses we all cringed at the possible layoffs. But the gasp from our readers when the NSX supercar was cancelled was heard all over the globe. With the NSX officially dead, Agent009 wondered if Lexus would also cancel the LF-A in a similar fashion. From the looks of it, most of you already had a gloomy outlook for the longest gestation period of any supercar in history.
