Where ever there are secrets there will be people trying to find out what they are. You see it every day where a photographer or a reader stumbles across an unseen model and simply takes a shot. Innocent enough, after all if they left it in plain view, then you should be able to take a picture, right? So when we published a shot submitted by one of our readers of the all new 2010 Acura ZDX, we new we had an exclusive. So exclusive in fact that other media sites followed our lead and used it as well. After all we are a spy site. Unfortunately the officials at the New York Auto Show didn’t see it our way. In fact they took out their frustrations and embarrassment out by hunting down our Agent001 and give him the boot on the first day of the show! That set back may have stopped lesser sites, but we always have a back up plan and show photos kept flowing in uninterrupted by our undercover agents on the scene. Some people just can’t handle their own failures!


Infiniti is facing one of the most challenging times in its short existence. With flogging sales and small lineup, every car needs to be a hit. So what better way to shore up the sales by adding a diesel variant to the well established M Series? With diesel prices hovering just under the price of premium, Infiniti may have pick the most opportune time to introduce a powerful yet frugal competitor to the waning hybrid craze.


We have discussed this one before, but it is always a winner. Can a car possess a soul? As far as a spiritual one we probably all know better. But there is no doubt that some cars are made to drive, and other that beg to perform. If you have ever owned a car that has pushed you to your outer limits, then you know what I mean. In that case the soul being stirred might not be that of the car, but that of your inner self. If you haven’t experienced a soul rush by now maybe you need to look for an exciting ride.


Now was it headline, the facts, or the scowl on the little girl’s face that set off the firestorm in Agent009’s article on the fate of the Japanese luxury makers. Agent009 knows how to stir up the muck, and this time he published the first quarter sales trends of both the German and Japanese luxury makers to reveal a startling trend. While everyone is suffering during these dire times, it was obvious to him at least that the German car makers were reversing their fortunes, while the Japanese were still lagging behind. Now this might not be so alarming if everyone was losing the same amount of ground. But our controversial in house agent was quick to point out, that last years winners were falling behind even last year’s losers. Was the tide turning and were Americans no longer fooled by slick marketing campaigns of the Japanese makers? You have to read up on this one and give us the earful on why the darlings of the industry are facing such hard times.
