Is BMW’s latest incarnation of the 7-Series destined for greatness? If you look at the number of comments on the latest string of 7-Series threads you might be inclined to think so. In our first post, agent001 whet your appetite by
suggesting the 7-Series is more than capable to take on the challenge from the LS, S-Class, and the A8. But just how does it stack up side by side you asked?
001 first brought out the outgoing model and compared it side by side and let you tell us how it stacked up.
Then came the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, to many the leader of the pack to go one on one against the 750. Now those of you who are
Lexus fans would never have forgiven us if we hadn’t brought out the LS for a comparison, and 001 didn’t let you down bring yet another premium model to the plate. With more than 300 comments spread across the series of articles everyone got their chance to tell us if the new 7-Series was going to be a hit.
With all of the economic turmoil and amid all of the cutbacks, many are openly wondering the fate of the luxury market. Agent009 took it one step further, and openly
asked who would be the first to fail in such a hostile market. Would it be BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Infiniti, Lexus or Acura? While 009 might not have a crystal ball to view the future, a good number of you thought you may have your own and gave your choices for extinction.
Even if none of the luxury brands falter, it is almost certain that many models will fail to make the cut by the end of 2010. Agent001 planted the seed of discourse and let it run wild when
he asked you to prune the list of popular models by the major brands. While I can’t say all of these models are destined for the bone yard, I can’t say you overlooked very many in the discussion either. Let hope this all ends sooner rather than later.
Outside of the bad economy and all of the strife, the biggest news of the year so far might actually be “Octomom”.
Yes this infamous young lady has taken the press by storm lately, and you might be hard pressed to find a single news broadcast without something concerning her. So befittingly so, Agent001 brought her front and center and asked you what type of car you would have her buy! In a welcomed bit of humor we all got our chance to tell her what she really ought to do with her herd of children!
